As we roll into the Winter months, condensation beings to creep in and create issues in almost every home in the country. Yes, you can fiddle with damp traps and dehumidifiers, but did you know that the most effective option also may be the most natural one?
The plant experts at Atkins Garden Shop have compiled their list of the top condensation busting houseplants you can dot around your home and keep things fresh.
How Does Condensation Form?
Number 1 – The Snake Plant

The snake plants have a humorous nickname of ‘The Mother in Laws tongue’ but they’re also fantastic at absorbing excess moisture from the air through their leaves. Their unique make up allows them to release oxygen even at night, making them ideal for bedrooms. In terms of cost, you can typically find a small snake plant for around $12-$25, while larger, more mature plants may range from $35-$60.
